Work to ensure the highest quality, most cost efficient emergency management systems (Police, Fire & Rescue, and Emergency Management).

PSA-01Develop plan for Public Safety Quarterly Program with Central District Police Station and Fire Stations that service Occoquan District1. Changed strategy to host community programs such as Gang Awareness Forum (August 2018) and inclusion of Police and Fire/EMS representatives at bi-annual town halls.checkmark
2. Continue to schedule community "Conversations with the Chief" of Police on at least an annual basis.
3. Continue to support Neighborhood Watch and Worship Watch Programs by providing information and encouraging participation.
PSA-02Improve Traffic Safety1. Telegraph Road at Horner Road Commuter Light Stoplight (December 2018) - This was requested from multiple residents. checkmark
2. Improved surveillance technology within the commuter lot due to increased trends of crime at the Horner Road commuter lot. Crime reports have decreased significantly. checkmark
PSA-03Improve Public Safety Facilities 1. Station 26 Opened in 2017 on Davis Ford Road.
